New Features & Services

Feature Property Display Option Added
Due to feedback from our customers, we recently added the ability to feature properties on the home page of your web site. This new feature now comes standard with your web site at no added cost. The feature is available from within your Web Assistant. Under the 'Edit' drop down menu select 'Listing Manager'. You should see a box labeled 'Feature Properties' that then allows you to select properties that you wish to feature.

Note, if you don't see the 'Featured Properties' box, then the web site design you have selected does not support this new technology. Only web site design templates that have the necessary space to allow for a property to be featured on the home page of that design can make use of the technology. If your design does not support this feature, then you may select a new design template from our library by using the 'Web Site Manager'. If you would like your current web site design to support the technology, you will need to contact us at support@birdview.com in order to make the necessary modification at an added fee.

If you have any suggestions you'd like us to consider, please don't hesitate to e-mail them to us at support@birdview.com.

Tip Of The Month

Many of you use BIRDVIEW's web mail systems. As you know, you have 4 different web mail programs to choose from. We are often asked what the differences are between the various programs. Below is a brief overview of the differences between the web mail programs:

IMP: This web mail program is rich in both features and aesthetics. However, given its rich feature set, dial up users may find the system slow.

SquirrelMail: This program is extremely lean and fast. It's for those that require quick access to their e-mail for the most basic purposes; read, reply, compose, etc. Dial up users may find it an especially good choice.

IlohaMail: If IMP and SquirrelMail are on opposite ends of the spectrum, IlohaMail provides a good blend of features and speed.

TWIG: TWIG is our original web mail program. While it has a good blend of features and speed, it is more limited in its feature set.

Should you have any specific questions about any of these web mail programs, feel free to e-mail us at support@birdview.com.
