Updated Self Help Resources

The 'Self Help' section of your Web Assistant has recently been updated. You will find User Guides, a Q&A section, Service Tickets and Web Assistant Tutorials. You can download User Guides in PDF format, review commonly asked questions in the Q&A section or check the status of any technical and/or service issue our IT or Support Departments may be working on for you under the new 'Service Tickets' section.

In addition, your Web Assistant Tutorial library has been expanded. These online videos will guide you through many common tasks in your Web Assistant. Simply click on the tool you need assistance with and a list of tasks will be displayed. If you aren't sure which tool to use for a specific task, use the search feature to locate an appropriate tutorial.

To access the 'Self Help' section of the Web Assistant, simply select 'Self Help Resources' under the 'Service Center' menu.

Create Your "Farm Market"

Our poll last month revealed that over 96% of our readers consider the money they spend on technology a marketing expense. With that in mind, we've decided to give you a marketing tip you can use, starting today, to increase the number of prospective clients in your database.

  • Enroll prospects in your weekly real estate update (FHU). Start with your address book and make phone calls to everyone you know who owns real estate.
  • Let them know you are producing a weekly email newsletter that contains newly listed properties in their area for a given week. This service is FREE, with no obligation and they can unsubscribe at any time, or change the criteria of the properties being delivered. Obtain their email address and zip code.
  • To add farming prospects, go to WebAssistant > Leads > LeadMine > Add New Consumer.
  • Enter the name & email address of the consumer and SAVE
  • Click the FHU tab and “ADD FHU.” Select EVERY property type, enter the zip code and select a search radius between 5 and 20 miles, SAVE.
You want your “newsletter” to show as many properties as possible so you can demonstrate your ability to handle ANY referral opportunity in real estate. Don’t limit your business potential by limiting properties to what someone already owns. The recipient can narrow the listings by updating their criteria through the email link.
